Zusammenfassung:	Passing through the wall of a furnace is the cylindrical body of a burner with a top inlet for air and an end opening for a burner lance (9). The air chamber through which the lance also passes, terminates in a circular block (6) with a circular opening (7) for the end of the lance, which is supported by a ceramic plug (8) and forming a primary combustion chamber. Concentric with the inner opening are inner and outer rings of secondary air holes (10), producing a whirling effect. The size, and pitch circles of the holes and the air speed are specified. Tangential radial holes can be used. USE/ADVANTAGE - High-temp furnace burner achieves good air preheating and reduced pollution.
