Device to secure firearm against unauthorised use - comprises casing shaped hollow body with securing piston insertable in weapon barrel

A piston which is insertable in the barrel of the weapon has the same dia. as the barrel, and is formed as a staged piston. The narrowly formed front stage is insertable in the hollow body and is provided with arresting means corresp. to recesses in the hollow body. The securing piston and the hollow body are made of hard metal, but the piston has lower hardness than the inner walling of the barrel of the weapon. The securing piston is coated with Teflon (RTM) or other type of plastic which reduces friction. In the outer wall of the hollow body grooves are formed in which rings of slip-preventing material are arranged.
