Flash removal device for mouldings e.g. foundry core - includes baseplate mounted on base with rubber dampers interposed and with magnetic vibrator under baseplate

Flash-removal device consists of a base (15) on which a base plate (16) is mounted, with rubber dampers (17) interposed and with a magnetic vibrator under the base plate. Segments (8) of a flash-removal tool (4) are mounted on the base plate. The core (3) is subjected to the action of the vibrating segments, whose acceleration in the direction opposite to the insertion direction of the core is greater than in the insertion direction, thus exerting a force moving the core in the insertion direction. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for mouldings e.g. foundry cores. Flash is cleanly removed without changing the contour of the core.
