The screen gap formed between two adjacent screen rods is at least partially bounded by parallel walls (24, 26), the parallel side wall of the next rod in the direction of flow through the screen gap extending further than the parallel side wall of the preceding rod.
It has been found that thereby the wear behaviour of the rods and the flow resistance can be advantageously influenced. |
