Zusammenfassung:The slot wedge is inserted in a respective stator winding slot (2) of a stator laminations packet, for closing the slot (2) and retaining the inserted winding conductors (3). The wedge has a thin non-magnetic layer (4a) on the side facing the winding conductors (3) an amorphous later (4b) and a second thin non-magnetic layer (4c). Pref. both the non-magnetic layers (4a, 4c) project beyond the edges of the amorphous layer (4b) at both sides and at both ends. The non-magnetic layers (4a, 4c) may comprise polyester foils. ADVANTAGE - Secure retention of stator winding conductors.
