Zusammenfassung: | The ventilation system for a theatre or similar building is formed by rows of short vertical pipes (8) with each row of pipes being placed under a row of seats (1). Each pipe passes through a hole (7) in the floor (6) and is connected to a source of air which is above atmospheric pressure. Each pipe has rows of holes (8) in its wall and its upper end is closed with a cap. The holes are covered with a layer of porous material such as felt or carpet so that air can flow out of the pipes to ventilate the theatre. USE/ADVANTAGE - Ventilation system for a large building with unobtrusive air outlets. |
