Zusammenfassung:	Appts. for microwave heating of substances under high pressure comprises a pressure-tight cylindrical two-part outer container, a cylindrical miner container having an end opening with a sealed lid, and a pressure plate which presses onto the outside of the lid and is supported elastically against the outer container, microwave-transparent material being used for the components located in the microwave field. The novelty is that an interspace (9) is provided between the inner face (10) of the outer container (1) and the outer face (11) of the inner container (5) and is connected to an outer space (13) by coolant feed and return connection channels (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - The appts. is useful in chemical laboratories e.g. for acid dissolution of substances prior to elemental analysis. It allows long term maintenance of high temps. e.g. for treatment of difficulty soluble materials such as fats, oils, coal, coke and plastics.
