Pref. the solid lubricant material is organic, the lubricant is a stoved sliding finish or a PTFE dispersion, the lubricant is put on a metallic surface, and the contact surfaces are of HDPE or other synthetic material. ADVANTAGE - The arrangement is suitable for various types of vehicle roof. Even without grease lubrication and in cold and sandy conditions, friction is kept low; wear resistance is excellent.
