Zusammenfassung:	A liquid sensor, which responds to the presence of a liquid in a line, has a housing (1) with a measurement section connecting input and output ports. A warning device connected to the measurement section produces a signal usable for switching when liquid appears in the measurement section. The measurement section contains a choke point (16) with reduced flow cross-section formed by a warning device (18) actuator element (11) movable w.r.t. the inner section wall against spring force. The actuator element is moved by the increase in pressure when the liquid is present but air is passed without triggering a signal. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. in electrostatically operating systems. Entire sensor can operate at high voltage.
