Zusammenfassung:	The conveyor belt or transmission belt of elastomer material. It consists of outer rubber layers, with an intermediate metal/textile traction carrier. The belt has a joint, to form a continuous length, and/or connect part belt length. The two bent ends are covered by a reinforcing insert, in an elastomer material. The reinforcing insert (30, 37) consists of a web, or of wires/threads, at right angles to the traction carrier. Near the free ends of the end sections (32, 33) of the traction carrier (31), the reinforcing insert is offset relative to the belt surface, e.g. stepped.
