Arrangement for avoiding difficulties in the coal-charging closure system of pressure-type gas generators used for the gasification of brown and other coals or their briquettes and their other prods. The closure system consists of the component groups: bunker slide-gate, closure head, and coal sluice. The closure head is inerted by continuous flushing with a safety gas. In the arrangement for removing the dust/crude-gas/safety-gas mixt. there is an exchangeable filter insert (5) which at its periphery has uniformly distributed longitudinal slots of given breadth and passage area.
