Electromechanical compensation balance with mass-spring-damper system - derives compensation signal from weighing pan deflection with and without article to be weighed

The electromechanical compensation balance produces a compensation signal used to counter the deflection of a weighing pan or load carrier resulting from the wt. of weighed material. The compensation signal is thus a direct measure of wt. of the material. The compensation signal is a current through an electromagnetic coil derived electronically from the deflection of the pan. The relative displacement of the vibration deflection of the pan with and without the measurement material is measured. USE/ADVANTAGE - For precision weighing appts. Accuracy of electromagnetic compensation balance is increased or its measurement time is reduced.
