Zusammenfassung:In a process for the recycling of scrap plastic materials, and partic. polyurethane or polyurea, the scrap is first reduced to e.g. chips or granules of particle size of less than 5mm pref. no more than 3mm; the particles are then heated and, at between 170-240 deg.C. and under a pres-ure of at least 300 bars, they are forced at a speed of 0.03 to 0.5m/sec. into a mould. ADVANTAGE - The process solves the problems of disposal of the large mouldings used e.g. for car bumpers or spoilers both environmentally favuorably and economically.
