Zusammenfassung:The pulse gas laser has a T-shaped electrode (1) with an integrated preionisation sparking arrangement (6) in an isolating base (3) to which the laser chamber (4) is pressure locked. The sparking arrangement (6) has two rows of metal rods (8) connected along the electrode (1), and respective metal rails (7) conductively connected to the electrode (1). The electrode (1) is parallel to the metal lines such that on charging capacitors (5) connected to the outside of the chamber (4) high intensity sparks are generated in the space between the electrodes (1,2). An adjustable counter electrode (2) is fastened in the chamber (4) and to the capacitors (5). The rods (8) have two openings for the gas blower (9). USE/ADVANTAGE - For gas pressures greater than 1 atm. used in medicine, laser lithography, laser photo chemistry and analysis. Compact, efficient operation, adequate high voltage performance and effective output.
