Zusammenfassung:The test stand contains at least two carrier elements (11,12) mounted at a distance from each other, pref. on a frame or base plate (1), with support surfaces or edges in a plane. A hammer mechanism (28,29) mounted on the frame strikes the pad (24) when activated. The resulting frequency spectrum is analysed by an electronic frequency analyser connected to an acceleration sensor which is brought into contact with the pad. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for measuring vibration characteristics of braking pads, esp, for vehicle disc brakes. Enables large number of pads to be tested in short time and can be operated by unskilled person or robot.
