Zusammenfassung:Thermal imaging sensors are used in conjunction with selected marking materials to provide more robust performance, than with visible light sensors. For example, road markings may be formed with materials (4,5,6) of different heat capacity and high emission factors, giving a permanent contrast in radiated heat. Alternatively, markings and signs use materials with high reflectivity and low emission to reflect ambient heat levels in contrast to surrounding surfaces. USE - Automatic vehicle guidance, and route monitoring. Road markings and signs, airport and heliport markings.
