Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To simplify the installation and enhance the sound insulating effect by fitting by pressure clips between a hood insulator and a reinforcement, and arranging a securing means between the extension parts of the hood insulator and a hood panel. CONSTITUTION:When a hood insulator 7 is to be fitted to a reinforcement 3 which is fixed to the rear side of a hood panel 2 with adhesives 6, first a detent pawl 13 formed by cutting and arising a part of this hood insulator 7 is inserted through an opening 5 in the reinforcement 3 into a gap 4 between the hood panel 2 and reinforcement 3. Then the hood insulator 7 is put in tight contact with the reinforcement 3 for location, and clips 8 are fitted by pressure into respective mating holddown holes. Then the extension parts 7a on both sides of the hood insulator 7 are fixed to the two sides of the good panel 2 through a male hood 14 and female hook 15 as securing means.
