Zusammenfassung:	Heat insulation for large differences of temperature in the range of low temperatures is described, in which adjacent strips (1) made of foamed material enclose between them joints (3) with a filler made of a resilient insulation material and, extending parallel to the plane of the strips, expansion linings (6) made of a soft synthetic material foam are provided integrally joined to the material of the strips. The strips exhibit on the edge sides slit-like incisions (5), which take the expansion linings (6) and extend only along the edge of the strips over part of the base area of the strips.
