Zusammenfassung:A high speed handling system for use in the stacking of cut sheets has a small suction belt unit (8) positioned ahead of the stack. Sheets are transferred by a main belt that has grippers at intervals. Each gripper holds a sheet. When near the stack entrance, the gripper is opened and the sheet falls onto the suction belt. The belt has a series of holes (13) that engage with projecting tubes (14) from a roller (9). Suction is applied through the tubes to grip the sheet and so retard the motion for accurate transfer onto the stack. ADVANTAGE - Accurate transfer onto sheet stack.
