Data lines (18,18a) have plug connectors (22) with the bus coupler module. A multiple coupling (27) connects the two modules together. The adaptor has power (31) and data line connections (32) to the household equipment. A terminal block (29) provides screwed contacts for the wires. Axial loads are resisted by clamping strips (20,20a). ADVANTAGE - Simple terminal block with protection for cables against axial load.
