Zusammenfassung:The hoof cutter has at least one bearing plate which can be placed on the tread face of a hoof, and a rotary driven cutter shaft (30) whereby the rotational face produced by the blade edges projects out over the plane of the bearing plate. Two such bearing plates can be provided forming a slit in between through which the rotational force engages. The axis of the blade shaft pref. runs substantially parallel to the plane of the bearing plate. ADVANTAGE - A smooth finished hoof surface can now be achieved.
