Zusammenfassung: | The burner system for use in removing the synthetic insulation from copper wire has a main chamber (10) through which copper wire (5) is continuously fed from inlet (3) to outlet (5). Within the chamber the temperature is raised to a level at which the plastic vapourises. Positioned above the chamber is a ducting system (21) that leads to a blower (22) that circulates the air and vapourised plastic into resistance heating chamber (27) coupled to a combustion chamber (28) in which the products are burned. The hot gases are circulated through a heat exchanger (40) that provides the preheating of the wire. ADVANTAGE - Uses thermal energy of combustion for preheating. |
