Zusammenfassung:	In a TV receiver, a microprocessor (8) generates RGB signals for the on-screen display of additional characters. The aim of the invention is to provide a simple control circuit for these signals when the TV receiver has no RGB input. For each colour, a processor output is linked to a cathode of the picture tube (4), bypassing the video-signal processing circuit (3).
