Zusammenfassung:Mixts. (I) are claimed, contg. 20-92 wt.% polyarylene sulphide, pref. PPS, 4-60 wt.% conductive carbon black (II), 4-60 wt.% graphite (III) and opt. 0.01-150 wt.% (w.r.t. PPS + II + III) other normal fillers and additives; 0-100 wt.% of the graphite can be replaced by micronised coke; mouldings produced from (I) have specific surface resistance below 20 ohm and specific vol. resistance = 2-0.1 ohm.cm. (I) are based on PPS, with 0.01-150 wt.% fillers and reinforcing materials. USE/ADVANTAGE - (I) are useful for the prod. of moulded prods., esp. for screening electromagnetic waves, for heating applications and for conducting electrical energy in batteries or accumulators (claimed). The above mixts. gives prods. with much lower resistance than prior-art mixts. of PPS and (II) only.
