Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	The factory, with several floors, has an overhead conveyor on each floor. A lifting device is provided to transfer goods from a conveyor on one floor to a conveyor on an upper or lower floor. The lifting device consists of a vertical pillar (1) which forms a guide for a vertical slide (14) which is actuated by an endless chain (8, 9). The slide has a horizontal arm (11) which has a section of conveyor rail (12) fixed to its outer end and which can be transferred from one conveyor to another. When the slide reaches its upper position it is brought to rest by a stop (19). A spring inside the slide absorbs the shock of the impact and the method of attaching the chain to the slide prevents any extension in the length of the chain.
