Zusammenfassung: | Water storage is heated preferably to 60 degrees C, and water is drawn off only from a pre-heated water supply, so that mixing of waters of different temperatures is avoided. In order to maintain a stable thermal distribution in the storage tank, and thus to avoid mixing, heated water is introduced below the level of the draw-off point, and water is drawn off only from the upper layers of the storage tank. The storage tank may be divided into a number of separately heated sections. USE/ADVANTAGE - This invention is used to reduce the risk of Legionella infection in hot water storage systems. The proposed process is economical, effectively reduces the risk of infection, and is particularly suitable for installation in systems using hot water storage tanks. |
