Zusammenfassung:The thin film resistor is sensitive to temp. This quality is used as a measurement for the radiation. The substrate material (2) is coated on both sides with pre-structured copper foil and provided with through contacts for transferring the electrical signals produced by the resistor to a signal evaluating circuit. As well as the sensor structure the plastics foil can also accommodate thin film resistors heated by ambient air. The meandering resistor is pref. coated with a photo-resist layer. USE/ADVANTAGE - Copes with positions difficult of access, esp. moving or rotating machine parts, e.g. motor rotor or armature. Mechanically rigid enough to allow thin film layer coating.
