Zusammenfassung:Detonator (2) held in a cylindrical sleeve (3) gripped in an axial bore (8) within a solid carrier (1) comprises series of charges, e.g. igniter (4) and initiator (6), topped by a closure disc (7). The charges are radially compacted within the bore. A peripheral flange formed by the sleeve head is itself compacted by a turned-over bead (9) projecting from the carrier body. The sleeve is made of readily stretchable thin (0.13-0.2mm) metal, esp. Al, Cu or steel, and has a closed floor. ADVANTAGE - Detonator is resistant to vibrations and cannot lose pyrotechnical components by trickling out.
