Separate mixer granulator elements independently height adjustable - joined by cantilever bridge holding drive components

A mobile vertical section above a fixed base can rise to an adjustable level, from whose head projects in cantilever manner, a horizontal hollow box element. This box element holds the drive mechanism for a mixer head and possibly a cutter contained in a mixing container, whose height is also independently adjustable. Solids and/or liquids to be mixed are fed with the mixing container through an upper bore sealingly engaged with the aligned bore in an upper cover plate. Heat is supplied to the mixer from a microwave source within the mixer, or by microwaves directed through windows in the mixer wall, which may be double. The mixer interior can be mainatined at low pressure by a vacuum connection. USE/ADVANTAGE - For pharmaceutical prods. with two separate height adjustments, handling is easy. Risk of powders escaping to atmos. is minimised.
