Zusammenfassung: | The geometrical conditions needed to allow bevel-, hypoid-, or hyperboloid gears, are described. The method is esp. for pinions with small bevel angle, to be produced by forging in a one piece die. If the necessary geometric conditions are applied to the tooth profile the forging can be simply removed from the die with a screw motion of constant lead. A master gear of the required tooth geometry can be produced by conventional machining and then used to produce the die, by e.g. spark erosion. USE/ADVANTAGE - The production economies of forming in a simple one piece die can be realised. |
