Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the field of metallurgy and concerns drawing dies for the single- or multi-stage drawing of strand-shaped metallic material to be formed. The invention is based on a drawing die, in which the drawing bore has an entrance and an exit funnel, as well as a drawing hole which consists of a cylindrical guide part and a drawing cone. According to the invention, the drawing hole and/or the entrance funnel has, at least in part, an unpolished rough surface with an arithmetic average peak-to-valley height of Ra >/= 0.15 mu m which inhibits the lubricant flow. The drawing die is used in particular as a single drawing die or as an entrance or working drawing die for pressure dies.
