Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The sprinkler system is intended for high-shelving stores which are composed of at least one shelving unit having a plurality of storage levels which are arranged one above the other for the material to be deposited there for storage purposes. The system is composed of at least one train of pipes having a predetermined number of sprinklers which are automatically initiated in the event of a fire and are situated at predetermined storage levels, of at least one common downpipe for the train of pipes and of at least one extinguishing agent feeding system for the downpipe. It is proposed in order to ensure the operational reliability of the system in particular that the trains of pipes situated one above the other in each shelving store region be divided into at least two groups which are independent of one another and are adjacent to one another and for each group to be connected via at least one common downpipe to its own extinguishing agent feeding system in such a way that even in the event of failure of one pipe train group in a shelving store region which is affected by fire, the other pipe train group will still be available for extinguishing fires in this region.
