Zusammenfassung:	Method for reendothelialising the vascular passage of a patient, the lining of which has been denuded of endothelial cells, comprises: (a) interrupting the flow of blood through the passage; (b) applying to the denuded lining endothelial cells retrieved from the microvessels of the patient in a density sufficient to provide coverage of at least 50% of the denuded portion; and (c) maintaining the interrupted blood flow through the passage for a time sufficient to allow the applied cells to form an attachment to the vascular lining sufficient to withstand the shear created by resumed blood flow.
