Zusammenfassung: | When viewing the starry sky (firmament) celestial charts of all kinds are normally used, apart from complicated optical systems such as planetariums. Celestial charts with a flat shape or spherical shape (as celestial globe) are known. The invention relates to a two-sphere system, terrestrial sphere/celestial sphere which are arranged inside one another on a common axis in such a manner that each sphere can be rotated individually and independently from the other one. The outer celestial sphere consists of a large-meshed wire mesh to which the stars (celestial bodies) are fastened. The arrangement and position of the stars is viewed by looking through the wire mesh to the other side of the celestial sphere. Likewise looking through the wire mesh, the position of the terrestrial sphere is viewed. In this way it is possible to demonstrate the seeming movement of the celestial sphere in the case of a stationary terrestrial sphere, as well as the actual rotation of the terrestrial sphere in the case of a stationary celestial sphere as two possible types of movement. |
