Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a sound equipment for inside and outside with tuned two-tone sound elements which are to be played with beaters and which are mounted in a support frame. In contrast to conventional xylophones, in the sound equipment according to the invention the sound bars are overdimensioned and parallelepipedal. As a result of the different dimensioning of depth and width, two different tones can be generated per sound element on the side surfaces in the case of corresponding mounting/suspension (two-tone sound element). A number of these sound elements made of one or various materials (wood/metal/stone ...) are grouped together with different lengths in a piece of sound equipment so that thay produce a tuned note sequence. The sound elements are mounted in an obliquely offset manner so that both tones per element can easily be played from one standpoint. The material thickness of the sound elements and the further embodiment of the sound equipment is so stable, weather-resistant and theftproof in design that is is especially suitable in particular for erection in the open. To amplify the sound volume, curved resonance pipes are, e.g. in the case of wooden sound elements, additionally supplied at the side and mounted behind the sound elements. The use of tuned two-tone sound elements as well as the erection of a musical instrument outside allow completely new musical and playing possibilities. |
