Zusammenfassung:	Transparent mixtures of aromatic polycarbonates and poly-C1-C8-alkyl (meth)acrylates are prepared by melting the polymers employed in the presence of supercritical gases or gas mixtures, intensively mixing the molten polymers until the viscosity of the melt has dropped by at least 10%, cooling the polymer melt with further mixing until the viscosity of the melt has re-attained at least the value of the original viscosity, then cooling the melt by at least a further 30@C and subsequently decompressing the mixture. The transparent mixtures prepared in this way can be converted in a conventional manner into mouldings for optical and mechanical applications.
