Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a process for preparing propylene polymers by polymerising the parent monomer by means of a Ziegler-Natta catalyst system in the gas phase in a stirred bed with dissipation of the heat of polymerisation by evaporative cooling, the monomer being introduced into a polymerisation reactor (2) and the polymer being discharged from (2), with the proviso that (a) the pressure and temperature in (2) are kept in a range which corresponds to the gaseous state of the monomer, (b) gaseous monomer not consumed by the polymerisation is discharged from (2) through an outlet line (4), and the monomer is liquefied and stored in a condenser/cooler storage system (5) and reintroduced into (2), (c) the temperature in the stirred bed is regulated by adjusting the amount introduced per time unit of liquid monomer evaporating in (2), and (d) the consumed monomer is replaced by fresh monomer, characterised in that, in further measures, (e) liquid monomer is withdrawn from (5) by means of a pump (9), introduced into a scrubber (11) inserted into the discharge line (4), (g) the solid particles present in the gaseous monomer not consumed by the polymerisation are washed out by the liquid monomer by means of the scrubber (11), and (h) fed, together with the latter, to the polymerisation reactor (2).
