Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a device for feeding weft threads on warp-knitting machines, especially stitch-bonding machines, which inserts the weft-thread group into the hooks of a transport chain by means of a thread feeder, the thread feeder being movable to and fro by an adjustable crank mechanism via a pulling means. The object of the invention is to provide a device for feeding weft threads on warp-knitting machines, especially stitch-bonding machines, which allows an adjustable catch, which is independent of the speed of the thread feeder and which guarantees a reliable transfer of the weft threads onto the hooks of the transport chain. This object is achieved, according to the invention, in that adjustable stops are provided at the reversal points of the thread feeder and the pulling means is connected to the thread feeder via a connection means of variable length. The connection means possesses a resistance which inhibits the length variability and which must be equal to or greater than the drive force necessary for moving the thread feeder. This connection means of variable length can, for example, be a pretensioned spring.
