Test arrangement for granulates, especially for granulates made of ceramic powders

In a device for the determination of the strength of granulates, especially of granulates made of ceramic powder, a position element (3), especially a piezo translator, is provided, connected rigidly to a bending beam (9). The bending beam (9) can be guided with its free end between a counter bearing (14) and a distance pick-up (15) opposite it and working without contact, and bears on the counter bearing (14) with the granulate (10) applied to its free end. By activating the actuator (3), the bending beam (9) with the granulate (10) can be pressed against the counter bearing (14) and the forces acting on the granulate (10) are measured via the distance pick-up (15) by means of the sagging of the bending beam (9) and the deformation of the granulate (10). With this test device, the force effective on the granulate is measured directly, that is to say directly on the granulate, and specifically independently of the distance measurement, that is to say the deformation of the granulate.
