Zusammenfassung:	The smoke generated by a smoke generator (10), before it is fed to the smoking chamber (17), is passed through a condenser (12) in which foreign substances and solids are separated off, forming a condensate. The condenser is drained separately via a condensate outlet (15). Only the purified smoking gases pass into the smoking chamber (17). A smoked skin contaminated with pollutants which must be subsequently removed does not form on the smoked foods.
