Medium-waveband transmitting antenna

In order also to be able to use the supporting masts of VHF transmitting antennas for radiating the medium waveband, it is proposed to provide at least one bent electrical conductor (angled radiating element) as the active radiating element for the medium waveband, the foot of which conductor is fastened to the supporting mast in an insulated manner close to the ground, the apex of which conductor is clamped in an electrically insulating manner with respect to the ground, and the end of which conductor is clamped in an electrically insulated manner with respect to the supporting mast. The horizontal distance between the apex of the angled radiating element and in the supporting mast [sic] and/or the vertical distance between the apex and the ground are/is selected such that there is as much decoupling as possible between the angled radiating element and the supporting mast.
