Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method of marking a vulcanisable article, and to a marking film. The articles to be marked are, for example, rubber hoses. To permit marking which is durable and adequately resistant mechanically, it is provided according to the invention that a coloured, vulcanisable layer 1 is applied to a backing film 2 and that subsequently the backing film 2 is bonded with an impressible film 3. The marking film thus produced is provided with impressions 5. During the vulcanising operation, the coloured layer 1 bonds with the article to be marked, the impressions 5 being filled by the material of the article. According to the invention, the backing film and the impressible film are subsequently removed from the article. The invention can be used for marking any vulcanisable articles, in particular for marking rubber hoses (Figure 2).
