Zusammenfassung:A double cover system gas-tightly closing at superatmospheric pressure and under vacuum is specified for a lock vessel. The lock vessel (1) can be connected to boxes (4) (Fig. 1), which can be operated at superatmospheric pressure or under vacuum. For connection to these boxes, the lock vessel has, as a double cover system, a vessel cover which can be connected gas-tightly to the vessel flange (11) of the lock vessel and has a lock cover (8) which can be connected to the vessel cover in such a manner that the lock vessel flanged to the box, after equilibration of the pressure to the pressure prevailing in the box can be opened to the work space of the box by lifting off the lock cover. In order that the double cover system can be easily opened and closed from the work space of the box, a pin lock (9) is mounted on the vessel cover (3), the bolt (10) of which pin lock, when the lock vessel is closed, engages in a closing plane (12) on the vessel flange (11) in such a manner that the vessel cover is displaced in an axial direction and is pressed onto a sealing ring (14). The sealing ring is laid in a flange plane of the vessel cover, the normal of which plane runs parallel to the vessel axis (2). For attachment to the lock cover, the vessel cover has a further pin lock (30) which, after flanging the lock vessel to the box and gas-tight connection via a further sealing ring (23) which is inserted between vessel flange and box, and after opening ...
