The mill has a housing 1 in which a cylindrical sieving drum 2 is arranged which can be fed from above with grain through a feed opening 5. A driven rotor 9 to which beaters 15, 16 are coupled is arranged within the sieving drum 2. The beaters 15, 16 are arranged in each case in pairs viewed in the direction 17 of rotation of the rotor 9, the material being initially lifted away from the drum wall by an advancing guide beater 15 and directed towards a following impact beater 16 with which the grain is crushed and thrown back to the sieving drum wall. The milled material passing through the sieving drum 2 is led off by means of an extraction opening 22 on the underside of the housing 1.
