Vertically adjustable mounting for a safety belt in a vehicle

In order to establish a simple connection between the holding rail (3) of a vertically adjustable mounting for a safety belt, on the one hand, and a vehicle pillar (1), on the other, in such a way that the holding rail (3) does not take up any additional space in the vehicle interior, the said holding rail (3) is arranged inside the hollow pillar (1) and fastened via spot-welded flanges (7, 8, 9, 10) to the inside of a wall (2) of the pillar (1), which is provided with at least one aperture (11) at the location of lock-in positions (3') in the holding rail (3) for a deflection fitting or the like of the safety belt (Figure 1).
