Zusammenfassung: | Device for optical counting, classification and subsequent sorting of microscopic particles, preferably of biological origin. The particles are suspended in a liquid and, surrounded by a particle-free enveloping current, passed successively through a counting chamber and a piezoelectrically actuated liquid switch in which individual particles identified by the optical device can be sorted out on the basis of their size, colour or fluorescence. A suction device for blocking particles and/or for air bubbles is arranged in the counting chamber. Disturbances can thus be overcome without opening the counting chamber and consequent loss of sterility. |
