| Zusammenfassung: | A process for the preparation of hexafluoropropene by thermal cleavage of chlorotetrafluoroethane and/or chlorohexafluoropropane at 600 to 1000@C and a pressure of 1 to 1000 kPa is described. The thermal cleavage is carried out in the presence of at least 0.05 mol of tetrafluoroethene to 1 mol of chlorotetrafluoroethane and/or chlorohexafluoropropane employed. With a small increase in outlay in terms of apparatus, hexafluoropropene is hereby obtained in good selectivity with an improved space-time yield. |
