Zusammenfassung: | Combat vehicle, especially armoured howitzer, with a turret (2) carrying the weapon (3). The projectiles (4) are arranged upright in the vehicle (1) in the region of the centre of the vehicle, with a passage space left free. A projectile feed device (5-6-7) conveys the projectiles (4) automatically out of the projectile magazine into the loading position behind the weapon (3). For this, there is arranged in the region of the projectile magazines a low-slung projectile transporter (5) with a rotatable basic frame and an extendable transport arm having a gripper device, by which the projectiles are grasped and fed to a transport rail (6) pivotable about the axis of rotation of the turret (2) and are inserted into a stand-by shell which is movable on the transport rail and which can be swung up into a vertical position. A projectile transfer arm (7) which can be lowered into the vehicle about the trunnion bearing (2.4) of the weapon (3) carries a loading shell, into which the projectile is transferred from the stand-by shell. It is brought into the loading position by swinging the projectile transfer arm (7) upwards. The projectile feed device has few axes of movement and also allows manual projectile transport and the escape routes are not impeded. |
