Zusammenfassung:	The electromagnetic fuel injection valve has a valve piston (20) with a stop edge cooperating with a valve seat (16) in the closed position. The piston is lifted from the valve seat (16) to allow fuel injection via a dosing gap defined by a dosing section. The stop edge (23) lies downstream of the dosing section in the flow direction of the injected fuel. Pref. a further fuel dosing system is provided by dosing bores provided in the main body of the valve, accounting for between 20 and 50 per cent of the pressure loss, the remaining pressure loss being at the dosing gap.
