Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a crank mechanism for an internal combustion engine of V-design with a crankshaft which per throw has two crank pins which are arranged offset with respect to each other and are connected to each other via an intermediate web. In order to be able to ensure maximum strength in the critical transition regions with, at the same time, maximum load-carrying capacity of the con-rod bearings, it is proposed to design the transition radii at the crank-web transitions larger than the transition radii at the intermediate-web transitions and to harden the transition radii inductively at the circumference in such a manner that the hardening depth at the crank-web transitions is larger than the hardening depth at the intermediate-web transitions. |
